The True American way to pass out drunk. |
The episode began with the gang playing True American; that game really seems like the most fun thing EVER--who wants to play it with me?? Anyway, those guys are the funniest hungover people I've ever seen. Of course, it was overdone because it's New Girl, but that made it more hysterical. Nick and Jess in bed attempting to talk, and Jess licking water off of Nick's fingers? That was comedy gold...which made them breaking up at the end of the episode even harder. Despite their differences (which we heard them fight over at length during the episode) these two really love each other, so when they decided to break up I couldn't help but yell "Are you serious? Come on!" at my tv. I can't imagine this sticking--especially since they have to keep living in the same room--but I guess it creates more tension having the main couple apart for a while. "Will-they-or-won't-they" is more fun than "they will", I suppose.
Now to the boys. The beautiful Alexandra Daddario (Michelle) and a-friend-who-I-don't-know-and-who-is-in-a-relationship-and-of-no-importance-to-this-story moved in next door, so Winston, Schmidt, and Coach all turned into move-in men to try and win Michelle over. Of course,it turned into a ridiculous fight resulting in the breaking of mirrors and vases. I would say, despite his crazy outfit, Winston came out looking the best by the end of this episode. Also, do y'all really wants this girl? She seems like trouble.
Cece's relationship with the baby kangaroo (I honestly don't remember his name) is preeetty boring. So the whole storyline where she drunk texted him was of no interest to me, to be honest. We've all done it gurl. The best part of this storyline was Schmidt's commentary: "This isn't a text message it's a Russian novel!"
