Brooklyn Nine-Nine 1x22 "Charges and Specs"

Okay where to begin. The season finale was filled with twists and turns of awesomeness that will just add to how much I will miss this show over the summer (and the rest of spring--this will be a long hiatus!)
Jake's last day at the Nine-Nine? (Probz not)
When Jake goes after a philanthropic civic leader, Lucas Wint, Amy and Captain Holt decide to help him despite Commissioner Podalski's attempt to shut the investigation down. Turns out Jake was on the right track and Holt had to ask him to get himself fired so he can go deep under cover for the FBI to investigate a crime family involved with Wint. Great, let's make my ridiculous crush on Jake Peralta even worse by making him an undercover FBI agent. Thanks a lot writers! Like any brave strong man who seizes the moment, Jake confessed to Amy on his way out of the precinct that he always wished something happened between them, you know, romantic stylez. But they can't talk for 6 months and who knows if he'll even make it out alive! (I think he'll make it out alive.)

Boyle and Vivian broke up (called it) and he was an emotional wreck. How much of an emotional wreck? He was dressed like Neo from the Matrix and was basically swallowing hard-boiled eggs whole. ick. So Rosa, who maybe or may not be developing feelings for Boyle, made it her mission to help him feel better. And she enlisted Jeffers and Gina to help her. Gina kept saying over and over again (with the help of her English/emoji hybrid language) that Boyle needs a hookup to move on, so when Rosa and Boyle were flirting at the end of the episode I assumed I knew where that was going. OMG WAS I WRONG. Boyle and Gina slept together! Yes. You read that correctly. BOYLE AND GINA.

What a great finale to cap a great first season. Andy Samberg has really proved himself more and more every week as a comedy force with heart and a killer ensemble to back him up. I cannot wait to see what's in store for next season.
